So, I think a year is a little long to go with out an update. So I better do that now.

We've got some great shows coming up real soon. On the 20th we've got our Rock N' Bowl show going down at the Bountiful Bowl. This show is always a lot of fun. Live music and glow in the dark bowling. What else could you possibly do that would be more fun? On the 26th we are playing at yet another skalloween show. The icing on the cake for this show is the fact that The Upstarts are releasing their new album that night!

The biggest show for us coming up is opening for one of our favorite bands Big D and the Kids Table. The show is November 24th and the tour has a great supporting cast with Whole Wheat Bread and Brain Failure. We will be selling tickets to this show at our other shows as well as selling them online. You can purchase tickets here.

I realize it's been a while since I've updated the page....my bad. Things have been crazy lately, new job, new place and no time. Things changed at work so I should have more time to work on the site. Enough about me, how are you doing?

Things have been swell with us here at Super Hero Inc. We just got some new demos printed. So now you can finally get your grubby paws on the new demos that previously were only available online. So now instead of only being able to listen to them when your chating it up online, you can crank up the Super Hero when your ordering a Vanilla Frosty at the Wendy's drive through...I know, it seems almost too good to be true doesn't it? Well, I jest not.

In even BIGGER news, we are going to be playing with none other then The Aquabats on December first at In The Venue right here in Good 'ol Salt Lake City. We are really excited for a chance to share the stage with a band we grew up listening to. It's going to be BIG, so don't miss it.

Other shows that aren't two months away are in the works, and We'll be announcing them very soon. Just as soon as all the details get worked out. So Stay tuned.

So kids we got some really, really good news. We are going to be opening for this years "Summer Of Ska" Utah tour date. We will be playing with some amazing bands and are really looking forward to this. So make sure to tell all your buddies.

New shirts have been ordered and as soon as we actually get ourselves a bank account we can start work on the online store. I know we've been promising this for a while....but this time we mean business.

At a meeting held yesterday the 11th of March 2006, Dean and Ryan set forth a plan of immense proportions of pudding snacks and pineapples! We will soon crank up the volume and record our long awaited second album....(yet to be titled). We hope to begin within the next week in laying down the drums and bass. We have some great songs lined up for the album and hope you are as anxious as us to hear the new stuff. The tentative release date will be in June. We decided to release it around our FIVE YEAR anniversary of our first show. We're going to set up a killer show for all the kids. So look forward to that.

Also we are in the process of getting our merch online through PayPal. It should be up in the next couple of weeks (we hope), so all of you out of staters can partake in the glorious new Hoodies we recently obtained. Yay!

If you haven't heard there is going to be a grand show in Los Vegas in March. This show is called "The International Ska Circus". This is going to be the ska show of the year. Some of the bands include, The Skatalites, Reel Big FIsh, The Toasters, Suburban Legends and so many more. We here at Super Hero thought, "That would be totally rad if we got to play that show!" Then, like they knew what we were thinking a contest arose. This contest involves email and online voting. If you vote for us by sending them your email. They will send you an email with a link to verify your vote....and you click it. If enough people click that link for Super Hero....we win. So go VOTE NOW!

So, if you kids haven't heard about Ryan yet you need to. Long time drummer and founding member of Super Hero, Ryan Smith, will be leaving the band to serve an LDS mission in Texas. We will be having a farewell show for Ryan at the glamorous club Boom-Va in the city of Ogden, UT. This is one of our personal favorite places to play. So make sure you don't miss this show. It is going to be grand.

Go to our shows page to see all the info.

After alot of hard work and many frustrating hours sitting behind the compy, our new website is finally up! The old site was up for a record 3 years with little to no updates, except for the news. We are still working on this site, but it was needed badly. Soon we will have some sweet stuff to help us to make updates more regularly. But, hopefully even sooner than that, we will finish the parts of the site that aren't done yet.

We just switched over to our new web host. We now have lots more disk space and bandwidth. So we will see what we can do to use it all.

We started to record some demos of the newer stuff and it's sounding great. We uploaded our first finished product, which also happens to be our newest song " Sick of You", to our myspace page. So go listen to it and let us know what you think. And if your not our friend yet then why not add us to your friend's list.

We played at the Lo-Fi skanking battle of the bands last night and guess what....we won! We landed the last spot on this years Ska is Dead date here in good old Utah. It's going to be an awesome show. This year's touring acts making the stop in Utah include The Toasters, Mustard Plug and Go Jimmy Go. We will also be playing with local kiddies Top of the Playground. So make sure to mark your calendars because you won't want to miss this.

The show last night was great and I want to give a shout out to The Sweater Club and the Pirkqlaters who made the treak from Oregan and Idaho respectively for this show. Also our good buddies The Monikers and Frankie Z.
